Ordinances, Regulations, & Fee Schedules
The Office of Impact Fees administers Jefferson County’s Impact Fee Ordinances. Impact fees help support public services and facilities needed to accommodate growth.
Fees apply to new residential structures for schools, law enforcement, parks and recreation, emergency medical services (EMS), and administrative facilities. Commercial and industrial structures and additions are assessed impact fees for law enforcement, EMS, and administrative facilities only.
Impact fees must be paid before a building permit can be issued. For the current fee schedule and application forms, contact the Impact Fees Program Specialist.
